Karmas Far Recalls Infant Bath Seats Due to Drowning Hazard

If you have an infant, this recall is for you. Earlier this week, Karmas Far infant bath seats were recalled over concerns they may pose a drowning hazard. According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the bath seat in question does not “meet the federal safety standards for bath seats, including the stability and leg openings.” Additionally, the recall notes that the seat can “tip over while in use.

For now, consumers are being advised to stop using the bath seats and to contact Karmas Far for instructions on how to receive a refund. At the moment, Karmas Far is also working on contacting customers about the recall. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.The bath seats were distributed to Walmart stores nationwide, as well as online retailers like Amazon, eBay, Wish, and Bosonshop. It’s designed to function like a “2-in-1 or 3-in-1 booster seat for eating, bathing, and sitting up.” To learn more about the recall, visit the CPSC website.
