Bayer's "permanent" birth control device, Essure, is quite the nasty little thing. Coils containing nickel and plastics are inserted into the fallopian tubes to cause permanent sterilization. It only works about 90% of the time, but it does leave some awfully permanent damage. Essure side effects are debilitating and even deadly.Among the Essure side effects over 25,000 women are enduring are:

• Excruciating pelvic & abdominal pain

• Horrible rashes (seen in the video)

• Autoimmune disorders, such as Lupus

• Widespread, chronic pain

• Loss of teeth & hair

• Coil migration, which causes organ perforation

• Partial or full hysterectomy (shown in video) often in their 20s or 30s

• Death

• Miscarriages and still births

Yet, this device is still on the market.
